The Institute for Systems Medicine is currently comprised of the Spokane
Community Clinical Data Repository (SCCDR) and the Spokane Bio-Specimen
Repository (SBR).
The data and bio-specimen repositories improve healthcare delivery, health
science education, and public health monitoring, thus improving patient
care.
The data repository can be used to improve the doctor-patient relationship
and provides clinicians with the information needed to direct patient care.
The SCCDR follows health outcomes for millions of lives of residents in the
Spokane area, significantly increasing opportunities for research and
improving clinical care.
This innovative research infrastructure developed by the Institute for
Systems Medicine provides the community with the necessary tools to recruit
high level researchers and health science faculty.
